Keeping Something Beautiful

Friend,

“In difficult times, you must always keep something beautiful in your hearts.”

I’ve been thinking about this quote from Blaise Pascal since I heard it the past week, and I’ve wanted it to be true for you.

I know that the storm you are in is overwhelming. It’s hard to know when or even if it will ever end. You are weary and still have miles and miles to go before you sleep.

So look for that small spark of beauty somewhere and hold it close:

• a sunset

• a hug

• a scripture

• a friend
