Friend,
I know we said that it would get better, but it’s not getting any better. You’ve heard our encouragement:
“Give it time.”
“This worked for me.”
“It’s only a season.”
But it’s hard to keep hope when hope isn’t keeping up.
Having hope is easy when hope gives you reasons to trust it. But hoping becoming wishing, becomes demoralizing after a while. Now, I could say things I believe like “it is always darkest before the dawn” or the “breakthru is just after the breakdown.” But instead, I’ll say,
“That sucks, my friend. I’m still here.”
Love,
Aaron
